The terms that apply when you use this site.

By visiting bjweb.candidcreative.ca or any subpage of it, you agree to the terms on this page. If you don’t, the right thing to do is leave the site. We’ll update this page when the terms change and the effective date at the top will move with it.

This site exists to describe what Boucher & Jones Fuels does, where we operate, and what we can supply. It is not an offer to sell fuel, propane, lubricants, DEF, or any other product. Prices, rates, and figures shown on the site — including reference rates on data widgets, sample volumes, and historical numbers — are illustrative, not quotes.

A binding supply arrangement starts with a conversation with dispatch or a named rep and, where applicable, an account agreement. The pages on this site are the front door, not the contract.

Text, layout, illustrations, photography, code, and the way the pages compose together are owned by Boucher & Jones Fuels or licensed to us. The Petro-Canada brand elements that appear on the site — wordmark, product names, lockups — are owned by Suncor Energy Inc. and used under our authorized-distributor relationship.

You’re welcome to read the pages, share links, and quote short passages with attribution. Republishing the site’s text or design wholesale, scraping it to train a commercial product, or passing any of it off as your own isn’t permitted.

Don’t use the site in ways that would interfere with how it works for everyone else:

• No attempts to break into, probe, or overwhelm the servers — vulnerability research is welcome, but route it to us first rather than running it live.
• No automated scraping that imposes load past a normal reader’s pace.
• No submitting false or impersonated information through the contact form or any future submission surface.
• No use of the site to send unlawful or harmful content, or to defame anyone.

We link to regulators, standards bodies, and reference sources where they help the reader. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site, and we don’t control what happens on the other side of one. If you find a broken or out-of-date link, tell us and we’ll fix it.

The reference articles, regulatory summaries, and product spec descriptions on the site are written carefully, sourced where it matters, and updated when the underlying facts move. Even with that, the site is not a substitute for legal, regulatory, or technical advice on a specific operation. Where a page summarizes a regulation, the cited statute or standard is the authoritative source — read it, or ask your own advisor.

Reference rates and live numerical figures shown on the site are derived from public sources at the time of publication. They are illustrative of what a regulated rate or commodity number is doing, not a quote for your operation.

We make the site available on an as-is, as-available basis. We don’t warrant that every page will be free of errors, that the site will always be reachable, or that the information on it is fit for any particular purpose beyond being honest about what we do. To the fullest extent the law allows, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Boucher & Jones Fuels is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the site, even if we’ve been told the loss is possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including liability for fraud, for personal injury caused by negligence, or for any obligation that, under consumer protection legislation, can’t be contracted out of.

We can update these terms. Substantive changes are reflected by moving the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms. If you don’t agree with a change, stop using the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site.
